Kelsi Murphy is a contemporary, abstract artist from Weston, Florida. Being formally trained at the University of Florida's School of Art, Kelsi has enjoyed painting for years. Using oil paints, acrylic paints and various brush and palette knife techniques, Kelsi has developed a unique style all her own. Her abstract art includes many layers of paint creating a three dimensional feel. Symbolism for the earth, nature, and the universe can be found in much of her art. Kelsi is passionate about animal rights and environmental issues. Many of Kelsi's pieces reflect the interconnectedness of all things. Kelsi is no stranger to the art show circuit. Her father Murf is a well-known artist who has been exhibiting his work for over 30 years.
